As you probably heard, Norway has had a sad and crazy weekend. On Friday 22.July2011 a bomb went of in Oslo and killed 8 people, an hour later the same man went to an small island half hour from Oslo, and killed 64 young people at a political summer camp. Most of the people there were between 15-25, some older and sadly some even younger. It's a tragedy, and the whole country has been following media, crying and last night, gathering in all the cities with roses and torches.

2010, the year I grew up and started working.

This has been a really scary, but great year! SO many things has happened, I got a dog, I finished my education, I started my own company, got a job as a photographer, bought my first appartment and I'va been traveling. Amazing year, here is ashort summary:

Spent A LOT of 2010 making shure we have a well trained dog in the years tocome.

Spent more time with my sister Helle and her boyfriend Kristian. They still live in Oslo.

Today I finally had enough money saved to buy myself some studio flashes. So now I'm ready for a dark norwegian winter, and can take more pictures inside.

I'm alone at the office today, so while I'm waiting for a photoshoot I'm doing here, I took some pictures so you get to see how it is. I share it with 5 other people, mostly graphic designers and other creative people. Beacuse I've been working so much at Fame* I haven't really spent that much time here, but I really like it when I'm here. It great to have a place to have all my work stuff, and just knowing I allways have a desk to come to when I don't have any photoshoots. Or if I just need to work on pictures or all the boring buissness stuff. It's a really good combo, having some days at the portraitstudio and a few days doing my own thing.

Winter is here, way to early for my taste, but what can we do? When you live in Norway, this is when winter comes some years. I've been really busy working for FAME and InMagasinet these last few weeks, so I haven't really had time to think about winter, snow, christmas or anything else. The weeks just runsh past, and I just hope it slows down a bit soon.

We are almost moved in, still some boxes left and a coulpe of walls that need paint, but we can do that when we have time. It's starting to feel like home though, it's a nice feeling :)

Now in these cold wintertimes I love to watch movies, tv-series and read other people's blogs. It's the best part about winter, you can do all this every spare minute, and not feel guilty at all. This is my recomandations for best entertainment:

My friend Ingrids blog - she is traveling in and around Vietnam, taking pictures and on the trip of a lifttime! I love that I can "travel with her"

So all of this, cocoa, candles and blankets make winter pretty good... :)

Just spent two days photographing for a big Norwegian Chef competition. Lots of great looking food, and an insight in a new world I didn't know anything about. I love that about my job, I get to see so many different worlds from the inside. :)

Office and work!

Everything is coming together! After months of uncertainty, I now feel like things are starting to work out. I got a job working freelance for a big portrait studio, Fame and I now have a office with a group of creative people.

The job in fame is a great place for me to learn how thing work, I really get to try working with many different people and it great to know I have some income.

I had a meeting with two girls yesterday, and we disided that I would move in and share an offince with them and some other guys. I'll be a part of the family there, and I'm really happy about it! www.snorkel.no www.darlingmedia.no I hope to move in end of next week or the begining of the one after. It'll be great to have a place to go to work every day, and the people there are really nice, and I think they can help me a lot to get started.

Yay! now I just need a place to live, and then it's all good! :)

Went to Lillehammer for a big bbq on our way from Oslo to Trondheim. My friend Ivar wanted to bbq a whole lamb, so he invited a bunch over for bbq and a kick ass party in the summer sun. I had a great time!

After 5 days in northern Norway, I'm tired and happy. Midnattsrocken was amazing, we had good weather, music and food, I met heaps of great people and I photographed heaps. Everything here is really pretty, and I saw the midnigthsun for the very first time. Blue sky and sun in my face at 2 am! Amazing!

And yes, N.E.R.D was amazing!

On Wednesday I leave Oslo for a few days, to go to Lakselv (waaay north in Norway) to work at the musicfestival "Midnattsrocken". I'm going to work there as a photographer, just walk around and take pictures of the bands and people enjoying the festival. Crossing all fingers and toes, and hoping for good weather! :D

I was looking around on my computer, and then I stumbeld upon our old blogg from when we lived in Australia... I really miss it! One day we're soo coming back there, maybe in a year or two. And then I'm going to shop heaps, drink cheap beer (coopers! mmm), drink many bottles of pepperjack and eat at saigon on glenferrie and red wok in South Yarra! Feed bananas to the possums and eat strawberries with chocolate at Max Brenner. Maybe invite myself to Gianni's mum and ask if she can make gnocci (the best I've ever had), have a bbq and just hangout with all the great people down there! I miss you!

I can't believe it! In three days I'm finished with my education! Then I'm supposed to go out in the big word and try to live of my hobby. I can't realy believe it, it's so surreal... But thankfully my exam is a big help on the way, our task was to promote yourself as a photographer. So I've been making my portfolio, updating my website, making an inspiration blog and trying to get the pieces to fit together.

Did a photoshoot with my cousin, Siw yesterday. She's been trough a rough time, and is now trying hard to come back stronger and better. I think she's great, and I know she'll be fine. Some people just have to work a bit harder than others to make it. I thought she deserved some new pictures of her self, so when I came to Trondheim, we did a photoshoot, and we had a lot of fun doing it. She really is a great girl. This are some of the pictures.

We've been working all week, and when we left today it still is a lot more stuff to do... But it has to be done tomorrow at 6pm!

100% - our final exhibition

100% is soon a reality...

We've been woring on this project for a long time, and now it's two weeks to the big opening! It is on april 9, at 19.00, and if you are in Oslo at that time, you are welcome to come! It's going to be a lot of people, great photography and champagne!

This is my picture in the exhibition, it was a huge project that I did with Lill Beate Eidsheim and Linn Beate Harjo. We have been working A LOT on this, and getting all the right people was a lot of work. But we did it, and we're really proud of it :) You shoud come and see it at 100%, it's going to be HUGE! :D Thanks to everyone helping out!

This has been the longest 2 weeks ever! I just feel like all I do is wait, wait and wait! 4 more days untill we pick up Turid, and I bet the days will drag on forever.

I'm also waiting for summer and warmer weather, I'm so over this winter thing, next year I hope I can put Pål and Turid in a suitcase and run away to someplace warmer. Just from November to April...

Thinking about all the thing thats coming makes me smile. I'm going to have so much fun training Turid, I'm moving back to Trondheim finaly, I hope I get a great job and Pål and I want to buy an appartment together. It's all so great, just have to wait for a few more days.

Happy new year everyone!
I have the best feeling about this year, so many huge things happening to me and Pål. This is my last semester, we're getting a dog, I'm buildig a portfolio, we're moving to Trondheim after I'm finished with my education. And after that I'm not shure whats happening, but it's all very exiteing :)

2009 was a very sad for me in the begining, but it had a lot of good times after that. This is my 2009:
January:

It started with a nice new years eve with good friends. My friend Angel was there too, visiting from Ausralia.

My grandmother was sick, and past away in January. She was an amazing lady, and I still miss her very much.

February school started again, and I worked a lot with it and tried to go on with my life. It didn't go so well, and I spent a lot of time at home with Pål, being with my family and friends. I did take promo pictures for Anders (www.haldenelectric.com), and I had a lot of fun taking them, and it's my first pictures to make it in to a news paper.

March was mostly about Kim Roar and Inas wedding (Påls brother and now wife). But I also did take my first band pictures for Kristians band Vicinity.

I also made dokumetary about my grandfather in March, it was really nice spending a whole day with him and see how his everyday life was after my grandmother past away.

April was all about traveling. I went to Spain to meet my sister Helle, and we had a schooltrip to Stockholm.

In may spring was back and it was great!The first bbq, good friends, trip to Trondheim.. :)

June was a big family month. Family meeting and my cousins konfirmation. But it was also begining of summer, and thats all about being in the sun with your friends :)

In july we moved from our tiny apparment to a bigger one just up the street.

August we went on a trip to Trondheim and Hamn, I worked at Øya'09 and we had great days in the sun.

In September school started again, and it was crazy! All my time was spent working on assignments, but I found out that Helle is a pretty good model :) I also was in my first exhibition.

October was almost the same, heaps of work with school, but end of october was VEGAS TIME! Spent 10 days in the states with Pål, Espen and Petter. A few days in LA and 6 days in Vegas. We went to Lelia and Andrews wedding, and it was so much fun!

November Pål and I, desided to start looking for a puppy, and we found a kennel almost straight away. And we got on a waiting list.November was a lot of me and Pål, and just being together.

December started out with exams that lasted for two weeks, but after that it was all fun and games. :)
I don't have any pictures from it yet, but I'll show you some when I get back to Oslo.

This is probably the longest post ever, but I just felt like summing up the year 2009, before I start on the new.
The year started out really sad, but it turned around great in the end. :)

Hi everyone, and merry christmas to you all.
Hope everone had a great one, I shure did. Spent christmas eve at my uncle's place, we were 12 people in total, there were heaps of food and presents for everyone. :) Great evening!

Hi,

Every day from December 1-24, different designers has come together to make a christmas calendar. Everyday a new picture is projected on a huge wall in the citycenter.

wanted to share this amazing site I came across, www.etzy.com. It's the perfect place to find amazing, special christmas presents. Everything there is made by the users, it's their own design and a lot of it handmade. You can even get stuff special made in some of the stores. This is some of my favourites:

Las Vegas

Had 6 crazy days in Las Vegas!

Stayed at "Flamingo", and it was realy good. Great location on the strip, big rooms and it was clean and nice.

Shopping:
Great shopping in Las Vegas! We went to Las Vegas Outlet Center and they had a lot of cheap clothing and shoes. It's about 5 mins taxi ride, south on the strip. To far to walk, but around 17dollars with a taxi (from the flamingo).

Other than that I went to Las Vegas Premium Outlets. It has a lot of the same stuff and stores as the other one, but is outside of the strip. I got a ride in a car, so I'm not shure how to get there. This one is an outdoor center, so it gets cold if the weathers not good.

On the strip there's heaps of shopping as well. But I found it a bit hard to find the stores. There is shopping in most big hotels, and there is a few shopping centers on the strip. The best ones were Miracle Mile, Fashion Show and Palazzo. There is a lot more, and I didn't go to them all. But you can spend a lot of money there if you want to!

We got to see most of the things we wanted to, the Venetian was nice, Rio a lot of fun, and the rollercoaster around "New York New York" WAS GREAT! We went to to shows, "Puscifer" and "Penn and Teller". "Puscifer" was soo weird, but good entertainment. "Penn and Teller" was FANTASTIC! They are so funny, and the magic impressive! Wedding in Vegas

Lelia and Andrew got married in Vegas.
It was the reason for the trip, and it was a great day.

It was the coldest day in October in 5 years or something like that. It was freezing winds, and it looked like it would rain.

We got picked up in limos and there was a one hour ride to "Valley of Fire" where they had the ceremony. Lelia was freezing cold, and we had blankets around us. The ceremony took about 30 mins, and was very Vegas. It was mostly for the camera, the camera was really big and right in front of the couple. But other than that it was very nice.

Got back in the limos after the ceremoni, and drowe back to Vegas in the sunset. It was very pretty.

The dinner was in a privat room in the Stratosphere tower. We had an amazing view of the strip, great food and drinks.

USA trip 2009 - part 2 - road trip

After three days in LA, it was time to rent a car, and drive to Vegas. We got to rent a convertible mustang, and it wasn't to bad a price. It did cost a bit extra for one way rental, but divided by the four of us, it was a really good price.

We drove of in the morning, around 10. Did a small stop close to the Hollywood sign, to take some pictures, but pretty soon we were on our way.

We got great instuctions from the guy at our hotel, so getting out of the city was easy. The road to Vegas is mostly on a freeway going throug desert. We did get off it a few times and had some stops here and there.

First one was in Barstow, where we just had to go in to a "99cent store", just to have been there. We also had a small stop at a MCDonals, at "Peggy Sues diner" and we had a small photoshoot in a parkinglot in the middle of nowhere.

The weirdes and scaryest part of the trip was when we turned of the freeway to look for a gost-town Espen had read about. We went on a tiny road for at least 30 minutes stright out in to the desert. When we finaly got there it was getting dark, and what we found was this house next to a railroad track. It was so quiet there, and so incredible creepy!! I felt like I was in a horrormovie, and I ended up just sitting in the car. It was insane! The house was filled with clothes and someones stuff, newspapers and coffecups. Super creepy!!

After that is was about a 45 minute drive to Vegas. Came in at night, and it was
amazing!

So if you're thinking about driveing from LA to Vegas, I'd so recommend it.

USA trip 2009 day 1

Hi,
I'M in Los Angeles! YAY! or more correct is Hollywood. I'm here with my boyfriend and two friends. The trip here took about 15 hours, so not too bad. Came here around 5 o'clock in the afternoon, and took a taxi from the airport. We came during rush hour, so the ride from the airport to Hollywood took about an hour. It was okey, we got to see alot, and had a nice taxi-driver that told us lots of useful infomation.

We are staying at "Celebrity Hollywood Hotel", and the location as unbelieveble!
Vis større kartIt's located right behind "Kodak Theatre" and Hollywood bl. It's perfect! and the stadard is heaps better than I ever expected. The beds are HUGE! We have two in our room, but we're only using one... :)

Walked around here last night, got to see the walk of fame and had a look around. had some pizza at Miceli. Very cosy and nice place.

After dinner, we needed to do something, so we went to "Ripley's believe it or not". Not really worth the money, but an okey way to kill some time. We were all tired from the flight, and went to bed early.

I woke up really early, so I was out side walking around at 7am. It was realy nice! Almost no people, and the sun was just on it's way up. I had some coffee and a bagle at "coffeebean and tealeaf" and just walked around waiting for the boys to wake up.

The rest of the day was spent at "Universal Studios". We took almost all the rides, and had a good time. The whole thing was very american, kind of fake and they used the same tricks on every ride. I was a bit disapointed with the rides, but I'm a big fan of rollercoasters and not so much getting scared with flames and loud noises. But we had a good time, and now I'm in my room with sore feet taking a small break.

Now we're going to see if can find some good food just outside the hotel.

crazy weeks

Hi everyone,
I've been so buzy these last few weeks. Well, it's not that few when I think about it, for about 5 weeks it's been crazy. Assignments, work and school. It's been stress full, but also a lot of fun.

I've done a few shoots that I'm pretty happy with, and the "bad things" series, is going to be a part of an exhebition we are putting together. I'll let you know more about it in a few days.

This is a shoot I did on Sunday, the model is my very good friend Jade, and it was a very quiet and calm shoot. It was just the two of us, and I really like the outcome. She did a great job, and it's realy nice to work with peolpe that can relax around you. She's been a lot on stages, so she knows a bit of acting as well, and that also makes it easier to get the right feeling and expression.

18-20 september I'm having my very first exhibition. We're 12 people from my old class that got together to make it. Everyone has a picture or two, and they're all about how the night belongs to all of us. It's inspired by all the things we do at night, been creative and the love for photography.

Summer's over

So now the summer is over... And I just want more.
Had a couple of days in Trondheim last week, and I got to see N.E.R.D at Samfundet! It was AMAZING! They've been one of my favourite bands for years, and seeing them was huge! sosososo good! And it was the perfect ending for a great summer. I've made some money working, spent time in Trondheim with friends and family, my sister moved down to Oslo, I got to be a part of "Øya'09", I saw N.E.R.D, I've been to Hamn in great weather, I've eaten a lot of strawberry and rasberry, and all in all a good summer. :)

Now it's back to reality. School's started, and I have a lot happening this semester. Lots of fun workshops, people visiting, Las Vegas in October(!), Torra is having a baby and after that, it's christmas again! YAY!

tha second last week of my holiday was spent at "Øya festivalen", a music festival in Oslo. I worked for two days, and got two days of. I was there with my sister Helle, and my friends Ingrid and Linn Beate. It was lots of fun, and got to see: Lilly Allen, Mew, Datarock, Madness and many more. Here are some pics from the 4 days. Summer in Trondheim

Hi,
I just came back from two great weeks in Trondheim. Met a lot of friends and family, and had a fantastic time. We even got some good weather after a few days of rain. Me and Pål also got a few days at Hamn. It's a small island 5 hours north of Trondheim. Pål's parents have a summerplace up there, and it's soo nice. We even had great weather there! I had such a good time, I wish it could last longer. But I'm going back in just one week to see N.E.R.D, and untill then I'm volunteering at a musicfestival, Øya, in Oslo. I work for two days, and get two days of to enjoy the festival. :)

Hi,
I haven't had time to work on my Neat project, but now I'm really trying to get som more stuff out there. Right now it's just a t-shirt store online, but the dream is to make the t-shirts my self, and sell it as my own label. I have heaps of help from friends, I just need to get the ball rolling. I'm hoping it can evolve in to more than just a store, but one thing at the time.

Have a look at the new stuff I made yesterday. You can change the clothes, the design and colors as you like. Play around for a bit, and make it your unique Neat t-shirt.

Other than working on this I've been on a tryout-workday as an assistant for a photosgrapher here in Oslo, Mari Svenningsen. She's young and very nice, and really good at what she does. I think I could learn a lot there, and it would be fun to learn by doing, and to learn what it relevant. I know a lot of people that are a bit skeptical of the job, because it would mean that I would quit my education, again... But I really think I would learn just as much there, and the way the industry is in Norway, you don't really need school, most photographers here haven't any, but they've worked as assistants and tranees. But I don't even know if I get the job, I just have to wait and see.

Hi,
spent a memorable weekend in Drammen this weekend. Drammen is about 1 hour south of Oslo, and it's where my friend MB lives. We went there because of a skateboard festival, Fjølfest'09.

We had a great weekend with 30 degrees weather, beer and bbq in the park, lots of fun and two trips to the emergencyroom. Nothing really bad, MB jumped of a boat and missed land, so she cut her lip and I managed to cut my foot on broken glass and get an infection. But other than that the weekend was amazing. Torra and Ingrid was there the first day to, and it was great seeing them.

I did a photography workshop, but because of my trip to the emergecyroom, didn't get to participate on saturday. MB and Pål did a longboard workshop and on sunday, Pål skated in the downhill compitition.

This is what summer is all about, and I love it!! :)

what a way to start a day

I woke up this morning tired and just wanted to rip my hair out. I have my exams this week, and it's killing me. My head is about to expolde and I'm just so sick of it. But the day turned out a bit better than I expected..

I got up and got ready for a jobintervju, just a part time job at a cafe. I was running a bit late, and run out the door. It was raining! Not just a little! And I was wearing my fabric converse shooes. As I was walking, I found out they have holes in them... My feet were sooo wet! I had to walk like that for 30 mins, and of course this did not help my mood! The only good thing was that I was out of the house and not working on the stupid exam. I got to the intervju, and it went well. I think I might get it, maybe...

On my way back home I desided to catch the train. When I got down in the subway I helped two ladies from Vancouver get the right ticket, and show the to the right train. They were going to the museum in Tøyen, the stop after mine. On the train I was sitting in my own thougts, and I missed my stop. I was just sitting there, not getting of... I have no idea what happend, but I got of at the next stop, and one of the ladies run up to me and gave me a pin, a cute pin with Vancouver 2010 vinter olypics on it. Just as a thank you. I've never gotten a gift from a stranger before, exept for one of my regulares at "cafe rosso" in Melbourne, when I was leaving. It's really nice feeling :)

It made my day :) I took the train back, and now I'm inside. My socks are hanging to dry, I have a nice pin, I helped someone and I've got some new energy to finish of this exam.

It's only 12.30, and all these things has happend... wonder what will happen the rest of the day... :)

Tomorrow my semester is over, and I can have a life again! yey!

Hi everyone,
just a quick update. A lot of stuff has happend lately.
Big semester assignment in visuall communication. This is two out of 4 ads we had to create. I had a lot of fun doing mine, and hope to do more stuff like that next semester.

Other than that I've been in Drammen wisiting MB, and got to hang with her friends and watch her bachelor exhebition. She did great, and I with her all the best!

This weekend I've been to three different family gatherings, sat the wohle family on my mothersside gather at Nærsnes, for a big picknic. It's once a year, and this year was the first for me. It was very nice and laidback, and I got to meet people I normaly only would meet at funerals, so it was very nice.

On sunday my cousin got confirmed, and we had dinner at his house. It was a very nice and small gathering. My sister, Helle and my grandfather both had traditional Norwegian clothes on, and they were soo pretty.

Monday we buried my grandmothers ashes, it was sad, but it felt good at the same time. It feels like we can finaly move on.

This week I'm studying for my exams, I have 5 days with exams next week. One theoretical and 4 days with practical. But after that, ITS SUMMER!! :D YEY!

I'm looking for a job by the way, so if anyone knows about something, let me know! :)

Stockholm

Went to Stockholm this weekend. It was a trip that my school arranged, and we had a streetphotography workshop and went to see a Andreas Gursky exhibition.
It was a great weekend, I learned a lot and go to know a lot of new people.

Easter in Spain

Hi,
just came back from a great trip to Spain. Spent two days in Barcelona and then we went to Jerez for 4 days. My sister has been living in Jerez the last two months as part of an exchangeprogram during her apprenticeship. She's working at a school in Jerez, both learning spanish and teaching english.

Barcelona was great. A big city, but it didn't really feel that big. We lived in the citycenter, just of La Rambla in the old part of town. Great location, and we got to see a lot of stuff, even if we just had two days.

Friday we jumped on a plane to Jerez. We almost didn't make it, but a very nice lady at the airport helped us. Jerez is a small city in the south of Spain. They have very little tourists, and they speak no english at all. It really is a great place, beautyful streets and nice and helpful people. Helle showed us around, and we got to see a few easterparades. They have parades from thursday to sunday. And every parade shows a bit of the easter-story from the bible. Amazing experience! We also ate a lot of nice food and just relaxed. Very good trip! :)

My dad just turned 50 last week! He didn't feel like celebrating, but he took us out for dinner on Saturday. We went to "Vann og Brød" close to where I live on Grønland. It was a great night, and great food as always!

We took pictures of three models for "everybody" modelagency in Oslo, Mikael, Raymond and Ina. They are pretty new in the business, but were realy good at it, and we had a lot of fun doing the shoo. And the pictures came out pretty good as well.

buzy week for me. Had a tryout for OsloNights on Wednesday, a whole day at a light-making-company (taking pictures of different things and in different settings)on Friday, a photojob (taking pictures at a event) on Saturday anf tomorrow I have a meeting about an assisting job for a well know photographer, Dag Alveng. So alot is going on! It's a great feeling! And the upcoming sat, we're going to Pål's brothers wedding, and I'm taking pictures there as well. And Sunday I'm taking band pictures for Vincinity, Kristians band. Buzybuzy little bee! :)

Hi,
I've lost my creativity again! Just don't feel like i've taken any pictures that I really like since my pola series. I have no idea how to get it back! I'm going to my grandfather today, to say hi, and to scann som film. Maybe it's something good on that? It might be. The film is from my (sorry, it's påls, but i'm borowing it) fisheye lomo camera, and I realy hope some cool pics will come out of it :)

Lately I've just done my assignments, and none of them very fun or exiteing. I'm not even gonna post them. Some lifestyle pictures and some dokumentary, and every week we have lighting class with assignments. That class used to be the most boring class we had, and now it's the one I learn the most. We also have a realy good vissual communication class, I've learned more there in 1 month, than in 1 year at Swinburne. So it's good, but I just can't seem to get started with my own stuff. Oh well, hopefully it'll reapear soon.

We leave for Spain in a month! :) My mum just came back from wisiting Helle, and they had a great time. I can't wait to go!! It's gonna be sooo much fun!

One other thing, Lelia, our friend from Australia, is moving back to the states, and she getting married there, so we are talking about going! Just need to save some money! :)

This weeks light assignment was on metal. We get a new one every week, to learn how light works differently on different things. Metal is all about getting the right reflections and working with the contrast between dark and light. This is my picture:

this week has gone by sooo fast. We've had some new subjects and got some new assignments. The week started with handing in two pics from the photoshoot with Bjørn Opsahl and a bag of candy for my "light"-class. This is my photos:

tomorrow I'm doing a photoshoot with my friends and classmates, Ingrid and LinnBeate. We have models and makeup artists booked, and we're trying out the new studioes at my school. I'm also taking some promo pictures of Anders later in the day. So it's gonna be a exciteing and fun day!

I just had my first day back at school. Good to be back, and get some stuff to work on. The beginning of this year has not been to good, but I'm gonna be alright. School seems very promising, and I'm exitied. Before we started we go an assignment to do at home, you could do what ever you wanted, as long as you showed love for photography and had fun. This was the perfect assignment for me, and I choose to play with my polaroid camera and some LPrecords. This is the outcome:

Hi everyone,
happy new year to all of you!

I'm back in Oslo after 2 weeks in Trondheim. The two weeks went by soo fast, but I had a great time. My good friend Angel came to visit from Australia, she spent chistmas and new years with me and my family, and it was good fun. We did some touriststuff, learned snowbording, played games, met a lot of people and went to heaps of dinnerparties. It was so much better than I could ever haved hoped for. My grandmother is still with us, and she is fighting so hard, so I hope we get to have her with us as long as we posible can.

Got back on monday, and yesterday I went out and bought a new camera, Nikon D300. I've been saving up for it, and I got some money from Pål for christmas, so I could finaly got out and get it. Thank you! :) It is sooo nice, and I think I'll go out and try it today.

I hope this is going to be a good year, with good friends and family around me. Even if it looks like it might be a difficult year a head, but I hope there will be more good than bad.

Just wantet to thank you for all the great wishes and helloes on my birthday. I had a great day! I also got some great gifts (including timtams, a reflector and a screen calibration-thingy), so thanks everyone!

I had a great weekend in Trondheim, met up with friends and spent a lot of time with my mum and sister. It was sooo good to have a whole weekend with no school and stuff to do or think about!

Then it's sunday again...
This week has been crazy buzy! I've had so much to do, but the week just went by. I've had another semesterassignment, this time in picture communication. I did a photoshoot with Silje, a friend of my sister. It came out pretty good, and I'm happy with the outcome. I have some trouble with my camera, and the pictures don't always come out the way I thought. But I really don't mind, most of the time I kinda like it... The assignment was: from sad to happy. I didn't want to make a staged story of something, and I realy wanted to try to arrange my own shoot. So I made a plan, found a location, borrowed some clothes and found a modell. It was good practise, and the teacher also liked it, so it's all good. :) I desided to let the colours and the modell show the transformation from sad to happy, and I think it worked pretty well. The last picture don't fit that well in to the series, but I really like it, so I added it anyway.

I also had my first assistant job this week. I came with him to work, beacause he's helping me out with anohter assignment and I need a picture of him working, and then I did some assisting for him while he was working. I might do some more assisting for him later as well, and that would be great. I learned a lot from the few hours I was there, and it would be good to get some acctual working experience. You can see his work here.

just a short post. I don't have time this week to do anything! Have three big projects that has to be planed and done. But I wanted to show you some pics I took with my childhood friend from Trondheim, Jade. She came down for the weekend, and we met up on Sunday to take some pics and catch up. busy week for my blog, but I had a big photoshoot to day with modells and make-up artists, and a really cool location. My whole class went to a big house, used for big gatherings and such, and had an all day photoshoot there. We worked with brand new modells, that are just begining their modellingcareer and makeup artists that are still in school.
